Haylee's mission papers were submitted on May 11th, 2014. She wasn't expecting her call to arrive in the mail until around the first of June. Everyday her Bishop, Bishop Sheppard, would check the online status. Everyday it read, "Processing, waiting for assignment". On Wednesday, May 21st, he checked as usual and lo and behold it read…"Assigned May 16th". IT WAS ON ITS WAY! Haylee checked the mail on Thursday...nothing. The mail lady came early on Friday. Dad was outside when she put the mail in the box and called for Haylee telling her that she MIGHT want to get the mail! She came outside screaming, grabbed the large white envelop, and fell to the ground. The CALL was HERE!
That was a busy weekend for the Neilson family! Dad, Zack and Bear were leaving for a mountain bike camp out in just a couple of hours. Courtney, Haylee's cousin, was getting married on Saturday. It was decided that she'd wait until Sunday evening to open it. That would give friends and family an opportunity to come and share in the moment.
The wait was TORTURE! Sunday FINALLY arrived! It was time….
